The track skyrocketed to Number One on the Billboard Hot 100 in April 2009 and went on to top the charts in more than 17 countries. At the 2010 Grammy Awards, Poker Face was nominated for Record of the Year and Song of the Year and won the award for Best Dance Recording.

The video for Poker Face, directed by Ray Kay, premiered on October 22, 2008 and won the Best International Artist Video at the 2009 MuchMusic Video Awards. Poker Face also received four nominations at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards for Video of the Year, Best New Artist, Best Female Video and Best Pop Video.
